RBC club rides now on iPhone/iPad

Rochester Bicycling Club member and Java programmer, Onno, has released Club Rides, an iPhone app for keeping up with the club’s activities and tracking your rides. It’s customizable for any club, but comes by default set up for the RBC.

BTW, the club’s kick-off event for 2010 is tomorrow, Saturday March 13.

We meet at the Christ the Good Shepard Lutheran Church, 1000 Winton Rd N [ map ] at 2:30pm.

We’ll ride the club’s Tour of Ellison Park ride (map #194 on the RBC-CD), the traditional first ride of the season. It’s a nice little 14-miler that takes residential streets to the park, descends Rich’s Dugway (where I did some training last week) rides around Penfield for a bit, then returns on Browncroft Blvd.

There’s a pot-luck dinner at 5pm, and the annual awards are handed out at 6:30, or whenever the feasting is over.

There’s an 80% chance of rain tomorrow, so bring your fenders and rain gear. 🙂 Or, just bring a dish to pass for dinner.
