First I thought it was a mistake. Then I read the attached memo.
Apparently, due to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, the government is taking $18.03 less out of my paycheck. The possibilities are dizzying.
I’ll certainly take it, but I’m left wondering why honest, hardworking people get less than twenty bucks, and the Wall Street crooks who got us into this mess get $700 billion.
