Some things I never thought I’d hear or say

On the phone with CBC. She’s explaining to me that she has to go to some do this afternoon for work.

“…and I have to wear a men’s suit. I feel like I’m cross-dressing.”

After recovering from laughter, I replied, “Well, you know they say that once you start you can’t stop.”

“I’m going to look like Madonna in the 80s.”

I’m thinking, perky.

Later in the conversation…

“I’m going to take both sets of clothes with me. That way afterwards I can change in the bathroom on the train.”

“You know, Lou Reed did a song about that in the late 60s or early 70s.” Starts humming Take a Walk on the Wild Side

I have a feeling this is going to be a strange weekend.

Do, da do, do, do, do da do, do…

Getting stranger already…

Yesterday, I posted this thread in the Love Forum at bicycling.com: Influencing others: A bad thing?

Followed by this one today: Please don’t ask me…
