I’m in!
The RN from the sleep study called this morning. Subject to my doc’s veto, I’m in! I don’t have apnea, restless legs syndrome or any of the other things they screen out.
Apparently, neither the occassional lapses in my data collection nor the drama queen attack I had over the false positive drug test were significant enough to exclude me either. I’d been concerned about those two.
Meanwhile, my cold has passed for the most part. I have this theory that since I have such a big head and evidence points to only an ordinary brain, that sinuses must fill the remaining skull space. Backing this up, is that, compared to other people, it takes a few more days for mine to get cleaned-out after a cold.
Among the oddball advice I’ve gotten, “Stand on your head.” To which I replied, “I can’t. My legs are too short.”
Sleep has evened-out this week. I’m beginning to get a sense of rhythm to the difficulties and am starting to wonder if there isn’t a tidal component to all this.
Even without a cold or sleep issues, these would have been a couple of busy weeks and I’m starting to feel drained from it all. I mean, it’s all good things, just a little too concentrated.
And with that, there’s work I ought to get back to. This weekend is the annual course I teach for Presbytery and I dont’ have more than 20 minutes or so outline, no handouts and no online or offline references.
