What a day…
It started yesterday with a near-continuous thunderstorm. All day long, rain, thunder, lightening. And cold. Dark is a given. I spent the day with all the lights on.
Today’s forecast was spot-on. Snow and wind. Lake effect started around 9:00 this morning and continued on-and-off all day. Wet snow forecast for overnight too, but since the ground hasn’t frozen yet, the’re not likely to be any accumulation.
That’s not the part that inspired this entry’s title. One of my projects at the Presbytery is to get their old PC’s ready to donate. Except for the one I use, they’re all the same. Or sould have been. All sequential serial numbers, yet, one of them, the one I chose to use to make a master to clone the others from, has some different stuff inside.
I was not amused. I’ll admint to a “fuck” or two and even taking the Lord’s name in vain, right there in the Presbytery office. After spending the afternoon verifying components in all the other PCs, tonight, I’m making a new master to clone onto them. So much for what was to be an easy day and relaxing night.
