When it rains, it pours
Just a quick update to say things are fine here. No traumas or dramas. No much interesting stuff in the past couple of weeks either.
Oh, wait. Went to Auburn to see Jeffrey on Wednesday. Been almost nine months since my last visit. Transport’s the problem. Anyway, got a lot of stuff worked-out that’s been hard to work out in letters.
After a long dry spell business-wise, I find myself with more work than time to do it all. The school site is moving along, my artist friend is having me do a whole new site for her rather than help her fix the old one. Gives me a chance to do something artsy-fartsy for a change. Two new hosting clients today alone, one could become a web design client too, and all sorts of “my computer’s broke” stuff filling in the remaining gaps.

Not much time for anything else right now, but I’m not feeling overwhelmed. Even if I’m getting a flat spot in my ass from sitting in this damned chair all the time. And I had to take a break earlier today when my fingers started siezing-up on the mouse. Very weird. Coudn’t move them at all, but no pain.
I also managed to find time to book a flight to JFK to visit CBC over Columbus Day weekend. The Jet Blue site’s pretty cool. It was easy to figure out which flights I wanted and they even do seat assignments online. Got window seats and plenty of legroom both ways! Of course, time was when I always bought aisle seats. That was back in the business travel days when getting off the plane five seconds earlier seemed really important.
I’m off to read a book before bedtime.
