Looky look
The new look is due to a new default theme with WordPress 1.5, not due to any tinkering on my part. Although I did change the color of the header background graphic. Someday I just might get around to making it look like the old Scenic Route.
My sponsor lent me his shiny new Canon PowerShot A85 digicam. I’m supposed to figure it out so I can teach him how to use it. This requires that I take photos, right? Before I get creative, I’m shooting everything at the auto-everything setting to get a feel for it.
I’ve posted some new pics in the Gallery. Since I plan doing spring cleaning this weekend, I thought I’d start with the “before” pics. View at your own risk. I’m sure there will be more pics to follow.
One of my projects will be to figure out how to use the self-timer so I can update all the pics in all the online dating services. What I really want would require either a photographer or a tripod, but I’m sure I’ll get something worthwhile just putzing around. And no, I won’t be posting any naked pics—here or on the dating services.
Another 3¾ hour phone call with CBC last night. Thank heavens my phone includes long-distance in the lower 48 and all minutes are free after 7:00pm. With a week left to go in this billing month, I’ve used 284 of my 500 peak minutes and 1,284 free evening-and-weekend minutes.
Oh gosh, she’s calling again. Gotta go.
