Record rains
It looks like we’re in for another record-setting month of rain. Yesterday we got nearly 1 inches of it in a single storm. It’s rained nearly continuously since then and it’s forecast right through the weekend. Fortunately, April-like temperatures have not returned. It’s been early May-like with highs in the 60s. Yee hah!
Of course, I can just hear Mark sputtering on and on about all the money he spent last year on an underground lawn sprinkler system. You could water that yard with a teaspoon, yet he just had to have the thing. Frankly, I don’t think it was ever about irrigation at all, but rather about toys or status. At least I don’t have to listen to his whining constantly this year. His never-ending bitching about the pool being too cold and leaves falling in it still rings my head.
Meanwhile, have I raved lately about the fountain in the courtyard right outside my window?
