Punctuation
I’m trying to remember when teh last time was that I had a comma in my bank balance. I can’t seem to remember specifically. I’m guessing early 1998. Something odd may have happened in 1999 and the balance may have gone into comma territory, but I rather doubt it.
I had commas in the safe almost continuously since early 2001 through March this year. There was the purchase of the PC in late 2001 that knocked it down a while, but only for a couple of months. But commas in the safe were relatively inaccessible so I never had to worry about them.
In any event, as deposits posted last night, a comma lept into my balance. I deposited two more checks today. The next bill that’s due is the rent next week, and I’ll still have a comma in my account. Even after the phone, electric and RoadRunner are paid a comma will remain.
This is uncharted territory.
