You know the economy really sucks when…

...standing at the main bus stop downtown on a sunny afternoon, a well-dressed woman with a black leather soft-side briefcase offers you her card—Downtown Accident and Injury LLC.

Apparently ambulance chasing has tanked as thoroughly as the rest of the economy. This could explain why the Bar Association is thinning the ranks, just like every other business.

Last week they suspended an ambulance chaser for inappropriately soliciting business by camping out in the hospital room of a comatose accident victim. Two weeks ago they disbarred another ambulance chaser completely.

This has left a vacuum in the ambulance chasing community and either this woman was desperate to fill it, or I looked like I just came from a train wreck.
